New initiatives at Cph Volunteers
New things are happening at Cph volunteers. We have created to new internal groups for the members – a ‘Volunteer Vocational Group’ and an ‘Ambassador Group’.
The Volunteer Vocational Group will together with the office get to think of and arrange relevant vocational courses which could be interesting and instructive for the members.
The Ambassador Group is part of the National Strategy-project aiming to expand out base of national members to better fulfill our goal of a 50/50 mix of national and international members when participating at an event. As an Ambassador you will contribute by helping to spread the word about Cph Volunteers at your place of study as well as making volunteer work a focus.
93 sign-ups for the year’s first event
In connection with the Copenhagen Fashion Festival, which will begin the 29 January, Cph Volunteers has 93 volunteers on the street handing out programs. We are happy about the great commitment, and we wish you all a good time!
New faces at Cph Volunteers
On the 1th of February two new colleagues will join our office at Cph Volunteers. Our new intern Nanna Elming will be working with member surveys and statistics in connection with the coming budget negotiations. Our new co-worker Jane Marco will be working on a new strategy for recruitment and retention of national members, and general development and fundraising.
We welcome them both and are looking forward to working with them.

Status of 2012
In 2011, Cph Volunteers have contributed to 34 events with 955 volunteers.
Besides that, 125 members have participated in 6 courses in first aid and conflict resolution, and among 570 members have participated in our 9 social member events. Furthermore, around 450 people have participated in our lectures about the Danish democracy, where also non-members were invited.
The number of members has increased from 1.542 to 2.016 members in 2012, and we are very pleased that this number continues to increase.
This year has been very exciting and busy, and we are looking forward to a new year, which hopefully will be just as interesting.
We are looking forward to see you all in 2013!

Two times celebration
It was a windy but festive afternoon where we had the pleasure of celebrating the day together with a lot of wonderful volunteers from our team. The day was marked with a beautiful cake and a speech by Franka.
Also the new managers was celebrated and was handed their diplomas after a long and intense weekend of education.
We are looking forward to working with them.
Thank you all for 3 great years and hopefully many more to come.
